Hi Maggie;
Are you saying you can open Publisher files with PowerPoint on a Windows
system? If so you might want to patent the process
I've tried with 2003
& 2007 without being able to make that happen - nor have I ever seen any way
to do so. I don't claim to know it all, but I've been using & training on
both programs since the DOS Age without ever discovering any capability of
the sort. PPt won't even recognize .pub files in the Open dialog unless you
set the file type to All Files & then refuses to open one if you try. I'd
truly appreciate it if you'd fill me in on your method.
Even if there is a way on a PC, Publisher is not a recognized file type on
the Mac so it stands to reason that it wouldn't be an option. AFAIK, there
are *no* Mac apps that will open MS Publisher files.
Are you sure you're not just realizing the fact that the MS Publisher
program - included in some PC editions of Office - is not a part of the
Office for Mac suite?
