While building a large (90 MB) presentation of jpeg images I found that I
could no longer open the file for further additions or editing. I got a
message "The document ---.ppt caused a serious error the last time it was
opened. Would you like to continue opening it?" If I click yes, the
computer hangs. I have another ppt presentation that opens normally. Did
this file become damaged by a Fast Save operation? If so, is there a way to
repair it? I tried without success to create a new presentation and insert
into it the slides from the damaged one. However, I can view the damaged
presentation normally when it is double clicked in Explorer. How can I open
this file again in PowerPoint so I can add slides and edit further, or will
I have to start all over? I have Windows ME and PowerPoint 2002.
