Opening several files

I can no longer open several Word documents marking them
with Explorer, using right click and open. Nothing
happens. Marking 1 document works fine, either using
double-click og right click and open.
This may seem trivial, but it is a nuisance to me.
I'm using Office XP under Win XP Pro.

See if recreating the file associations for Word resolves the problem.
Go to Start/Run and run:

winword /r

Note the space before the forward slash.
