Opening VBE with toolbar button crashes XL.

This just started happening, and I haven't installed anything new recently
so it's really throwing me off.
This doesn't happen every time, but in spurts; when clicking the VBE button
on the XL toolbar, the VBE will open for a split second and then crash the
whole program.

Has anyone else had this problem? I couldn't find anything online about it
(which is pretty rare).
My computer has plenty of RAM that isn't commited, so I know that's not the
problem.

Any help/ideas would be great!
