Opening W2003 file probs..how to disable NAV Corpoate Edition??

I used to have Word 2000 and have since upgraded to Word 2003. All of my
files I created using Word 2000 and any new files I create using Word 2003
cannot be re-opened again after I save the file. I have tried re-naming the
Normal.dot file because I was also getting other errors, and that didn't
work. So my next step is to disable the Norton Antivirus Office Plug-In but
I see no instructions on how to do it if you have the Corporate Edition like
I do. I have Norton Anti-Virus Coporate Edition 2002 and the NAV 2002
instructions do not work since I do not have an "options" tab to select.

I have six years of school documents on my computer because I am a high
school teacher and would really like to be able to use them all again. I
appreciate anybody's advice who can help me

If a previous version of NAV was installed, which contained the
plug-in, and Norton CE was installed later the DLL for the plug-in
could still be registered.

First search for officeav.dll and if found go to Start/Run and run the
following command:

regsvr32 /u "c:\program files\norton antivirus\officeav.dll"

In the above example the path for "Officeav.dll" would depend on the
location of the DLL.
