Opening Warning Prompt

Is there a way to disable the following prompt as you open a database...

'This file may not be safe if it contains code that was intended to harm
your computer. Do you want to open this file or canel the operation?'

If so, can anyone help me how to change it?

Thanks.

It's the macro security setting. In German localized version it is found
under Extras / Macro / Security. I assume it is found in an English
localzied version under tools.

When you set security to low, the message will no longer appear.

yes; petition microsoft to stop handicapping MS Access

there is NO REASON that Access prompts you 3 times and excel prompts
you once

excel is a much much much bigger security risk

how many excel macro viruses have been identified?

10,000?

how many access viruses have been identified?

1?

hey tony

stfu and tell me how i'm wrong

ms access prompts you what.. three times?

Excel prompts you once?

I did Anti-virus support _AT_MICROSOFT_ and I know firsthand that
there are 10,000 Excel Macro Viruses in the real world

Access is not a security risk; but MS decided to handicap Access
because MS is run by a bunch of Excel _FAGS_

I don't have the option to lower security level. Using Access 2003. Can you
help in disabling this warning prompt in a different way? Went to the link
below from Jeff and wasn't able to use this to help. Thanks
