Opening Word 2000

I have never seen this problem before. One of our
workstations has a problem opening up Word. When we open,
we should get a fresh page to work on. Instead we are
getting a file that was created in Word in the past. I
totally removed Office from the PC and installed it again
and it is still bringing up this file everytime we start
the Word software. I do not know how to clean it out so
we start fresh each time. Any help would be appreciated.

it seems as if the document was saved in the template file
and checked as the default 'new document'. go
c\programs\office\word\templates and if it is there that's
why! delete it and create a clean document for the default
