Opening Word 2007 (for windows) in Word 2004 (for Mac)

I can't seem to open Word 2007 files on my Mac in Word 2004. I have a
work around of opening them in Word in Parallels then resaving them
then opening them in Word 2004 however this process is very time
consuming. Is there a patch of some sort so I can open them directly
in Word 2004?

There is a Beta converter at Mactopia :-
