Opening Word Document.

I am running Word 2007 and when I open a document, just Word itself opens,
and no documents open with it. not even normal.dotm

how do I fix this?

It is usually the Anti Virus causing the problem. Check to see if your AV
has some sort of Office plug-in and disable it.
