Opening word documents

Since installation of office 2003 (ugrade from 2000) I have a user unable to
open word documents, message comes up saying "the file is not available".
Tried "open with" no success and have even tried creating a new document
saving it and when the new doc is asked to open the same "file not available"
comes up. Can anyone help please

i cant open any of my word files and cant locate the norton anti virus program as well can u help me please.

Hi Everyone

This worked for me in the Technicval Refresh. It also eliminated the Excel
virus problem that I just posted.
