Opening Workspace Attached Documents Causes IE to crash

Project Server 2007 running on Server 2003
From a PWA workspace, when a document is clicked in IE with the left
mouse button, from the
project workspace, IE throws an exception error and causes the browser
to
close.

The user must re-open and if they wish to open the document, they
have to
right click and choose open.

This is happening in both IE7 and IE6.

Anyone?

Bump back at you! Are you running Office 2003 and Project 2007 together on
the problem machines? If so, try this:

1. Do a search for owssupp.dll. and Rename all copies.
2. Go to Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs
3. Select Office 2007 and do a repair.
4. Wait a long time for it to run and reboot.

Let us know if this bumps the problem! If so, this may become a regular
routine.

HI Gary, thanks for finally responding, I was going nuts!

Just before you posted this reply one of our pc support guys suggested
running Office Diagnostic Tools. So we ran it on the problem machines
and that worked.

All set..... for now, until they break again.
