Opening Worperfect 5.1 for Dos files

Does the Office 2004 for Mac have a filter for opening
Wordperfect 5.1 for Dos files?

In Word 98 for mac I can open the files without any
problem, but in Word 2004, I can´t. I asked me the file
type.

No. There isn't a converter for Word to WordPerfect. Check out MacLinkPlus
from Dataviz, which includes a translator.

Otherwise, you could ask the WordPerfect user to save the file as RTF and
then e-mail it to you. You can open RTF in Word and then save it and send it
back to be opened in WordPerfect.
