Opens Read Only for User

I am having a problem with letting users on our network
open the database to do some work. When they open the
database it says that the database is Read Only. I can
open it through the network without any problem. We use
Citrix emulation program for working with our software.

I have 2 other people in my office that use a different
database that I built and they do not have any problems
viewing and working with it.

I do not use a User group, it is too much of a hastle.
There aren't any other users that are using the database
in exclusive mode at the same time.

Please help!
