Opens With Issue

Hi All,

I am facing an issue which happened due to my ignorance...
I had once opened a file of type "unknown" using "opens with" and opened
with TextPad just to see how it looks in a document...

Now the problem is when I had to download some important company related S/W
which are either tar, zip etc... but of the type "unknown" file type, it is
opening with "Textpad" always.....

I want to open these files with the windows Zip facility (compressed folder)
which we have along with XP...
Also I am not in a position to download winzip..

Please let me know how I can point to "compressed folder" to open these
unknown type files?? I need the "compressed folder" option when I do an
"opens with" which I cant find now.

This is not an Office problem but get the ZIP folder fix here:

XP File Association Fixes-Doug Knox:

At least it will fix your zip files, though not your "unknown" file
type.
