Operation Failed Message when using send and receive

I thank everyone here for the help in creating a new profile and changing the
file extensions to solve the problem of the message "operation failed" when
using send & receive. It would have been very helpful though if you had
mentioned that one would lose all folders and contacts when doing this. Thank
God I had saved my contacts in excel and was able to restore them but I lost
all my folders. One might tell us "newbies" that we should not delte the old
profile, just make a new one, and then you would not lose all folders, at
least you could retrieve some info. I am sure that it is still on the
computer somewhere but finding it could take forever when you aren't a guru.
I guess you need to "clean house" once in a while but it hurts when you lose
things that you need. Thanks!

All you had to do was to configure the new profile to use your existing .pst
file. Not a huge jump. Look for any file with a .pst extension - using
Windows search, enable searching hidden files/folders.
