Operation failed when sending a worksheet

When I try to send a excel sheet to an email recipient I
get an operation failed message, no stop code etc just
operation failed.
This doesnot occur on a regular basis, when I first load
excel I can send find, then within 15 minutes of having
loaded excel for the first time the same worksheet fails
to send with htis error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
