Hello
I don't know if this ng is the most active location on the Net about
Microsoft Outlook. I just wanted to find an experienced Outlook
developer to take a look at an opportunity.
If you know how to sync Outlook with another application through the
venerable DDE protocol: About 15,000 users are estimated to still be
using an old application (EccoPro) whose development ceased in 1997.
The reason some people still use it, is that it has features that
still haven't been replicated in Outlook or any other PIM application.
The opportunity is this: If we assume that 2,000 users did choose to
buy this utility @ $50, there's an opportunity to make $100,000. Not
bad for a few days worth of work for someone with deep knowledge of
Outlook and DDE.
If you're interested in taking a look, more information about EccoPro
and how to access its data through DDE is available here:

Cheers,
