Dear All,
I'm currently doing a project for maximize total revenues generated
for 1 plane ride.
This is where I try to sell tickets at different prices each day for
approx. 30 days before the actual plane ride. The demand is estimated
by using a formula that the client provided, which is related to 1)
ticket price and 2) days before the ride.
I am trying to maximize the total revenue generated for the whole
sales period. In this case, I think it will be 'ticket price x ticket
demand'
I think the variables for this situation is as follow:
1) Sales period - Day 1 to Day 30
2) Ticket price - Must be increment of 100 pounds
3) Ticket demand - Must be an integer
4) Ticket class - 9 first class, 46 business and 324 economy (379
total)
Is it possible to guide me through the process of how to solve this
problem please. I would appreciate it very much.
Thank you!
