Hi there.
I'm having a problem opening up all Office products. When I open Word, for
instance, the first thing the title window shows is that it's "optimizing
font performance," which is a normal setup that every program goes through
upon opening. At that point though, it opens a separate window warning me
that my font is corrupt and should be removed. I apparently have over 200
fonts that are suddenly corrupt because Word opens up a separate window for
each font!!! I am using a Mac and my fonts are contained in a program called
FontBook. I've tried to disable most of these fonts, but to no avail! These
fonts are legit--it's even telling me that system fonts such as Times, are
corrupt. These fonts work in other programs, however.
Is there a way to turn off the "optimizing font performance" when I open
Word, or do I need to reload every font on my system? Could there be a
conflict between Office and FontBook? I have only recently started to have
problems.
Thanks for your help.
