I can't seem to get this working in Office 2007? Is the solution the same,
or chas it changed? I want to do the same thing - have groups of buttons in
a single document.

I assume that you mean an ActiveX Control type Option Button.

Have you assigned a group name to each of the buttons that you want to
function as a group? Have you exited from the Design mode?

They certainly work the way that they always have for me.
