Option Group Troubleshooting

I am a new Access User, using Access 2003. I'm putting in an option group in a form with three choices. I use the option group tool to name the choices, but the option buttons don't work. When I click on them in the Form, they do not highlight with the "dot in center of circle". What am I doing wrong?
