Option Groups

I have used an option group (check boxes)to grade
performance, however, it appears as though the option
group only allows numerical values. I used 10 for "above
average", 7 for "average", and 3 for "below average". Is
there any way to change these numbers back to the text?

An option group has a numeric value as its choice/selection. To what kind
of field are you trying to bind your option group.

If you want to see/use text, consider a listbox or combo box.
