Outlook lacks the ability to display the email address of people whose
details are included in the To and CC fields of emails.
In order to get to the actual email address one has to go on each email
address individually, right click on the hyperlink, choose outlook properties
and then copy the email address.
When an email is printed it is the display names rather than the email
addresses that are printed.
The problems with the current approach are:
1. The display name is set by the sender. These are not normally intuitive
to the recipient. For example Uncle John, Bimbo Mix and other fancy names do
not make sense while (e-mail address removed) and (e-mail address removed) do.
2. Display names have a higher likely hood of changing than email addresses.
3. It an email is passed on to a third party, these descriptive names cannot
be deciphered.
