When creating new projects and then saving the SAVE the project, the default
save option is was prompting for filename. Not sure what caused this new
behavior to happen. I discovered that the OPTION SAVE needs to be set to
"Project (*.mpp). So I set the option and when I save it saves to project
server. Great! Thought I had the solution.

However, if I exit professional professional 2007 and then restart it, the
old OPTION SAVE is back to "Microsoft Project 2000 - 2003 (*.mpp)". So I
then, "Open Enterprise Global", reset the OPTION SAVE and saved globals.
Still no fix for keeping OPTION SAVE default.

So looking for a solution, where the OPTION SAVE, always point to the
project server. Any suggestions.

PS. Of course this was working in the past, and it seemed like this started
after a Microsoft update, updated Project Professional 2007 to SP1. So I
upgrade Project Server and Office server to 2007"

Also, if you open a project from the server, it saves fine back to the server.

Hi,

I don't think you can set this from the E-global.
When a user sets it it is set in his global.mpt where it sticks (as far as I
have seen)
