options window of word 2007 not working

Word 2007 repeatedly crashes. I cannot scroll or select in a document. I can
move around the document using the arrows and do basic typing and deletion. I
cannot use the features in the options window to disable add-ins. I have
Vista Home Premium and Office 2007. Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint work OK. I
thought it might be Acrobat Add-In but don't know how to remove without
access to options window.
