Oracle data source

We would like to use Infopath to create a form overlay for printing Purchase
Orders. Basically, we are looking to add a logo, column headers, and some
straight line graphics to the data to make the Purchase Order more readable.
The data currently resides in an Oracle database running on an HP-UX system.
The Oracle RDBMS is version 8.1.7.2.0 and the Oracle Applications version is
11.0.300. Does this sound like something that can easily be done with
Infopath, or would we be better of using a pre-printed form?

I would not use InfoPath for printing or reporting purposes, because it would
cost too much effort to create a solution that works with an Oracle data
source. First you'd have to create a web service to retrieve the data, and
second, InfoPath was not really designed to be a printing or reporting tool.

If you do not have Oracle-specific printing or reporting tools available,
you could use MS Access to create reports, that is, if you just want to
retrieve and display data, and bind Access to your Oracle database through a
DSN (ODBC connection).
