Order management database

Hello,
I have very little experience with Access, some but not much. I would
rather use a database template than design my own, but I am finding that
there is not a template that suits me. I am the manager of a research lab
and I do all the ordering. All the current templates are for people taking
orders, I need a database that will track orders that I have placed, vendors
and inventory recieved. Does anyone know of a database like that or know how
I can modify one to do what I want.

I'm myself involved in the order management and have designed a kind of
order
management database. I think I could be of some help to you. I'd like to get
more practice with creating databases. So if you like you can send me an

You might want to look at the Northwind.mdb Access
database that usually ships with Access.

Get back to me. I have a solution that might work for
you which is a variation of a Shopping Cart with Inventory
Control based Purchase Orders using various Suppliers.
