Hi,
For my shortcuts to the front-end, I have always used the format: location
of msaccess.exe, location of front-end.mdb, /wrkgrp location of workgroup in
this order. Today I was called upon to help solve an issue (where some
people cannot get into the database) and when I looked at the shortcut, it
had the msaccess.exe location followed by the /wrkgrp location and last was
the front-end.mdb location. Could this be part of the problem, or does it
not matter where you place the /wrkgrp switch? thanks much.

Check out the "command line switches" topic in the help file for your
version of Access. In 2007 either one can be used.

I'm using Access 2003, and I couldn't find anything in the help file
regarding the specific order of commands. Anyway, I had time to try it this
morning, and it appears that the order does not matter. Thanks for your reply.

Generally the order doesn't matter. However I have a vague memory
from 5 or 10 years ago where it did matter. Once.
