Order of Custom Properties on a Shape

I have several custom properties set up in an Org Chart, but i would like to
change the order the properties shows up in.

For instance, if I right click on a shape and choose Properties. the custom
properties it shows me are 1. Phone Number, 2. Last Name, 3. Email Address,
4. First Name.

I would like to chnage the order these show up in to 1. Last Name then First
Name then Phone Number, etc.

But I cannot find how to change the order they are displayed in. there is
no "Move Up" or "Move Down" option that I can find.

You have to edit the SortKey cell for each custom property in the Master
shape (for each Master used) in the document stencil
Tools / Options / Advanced / Run in Developer Mode
Use 01, 02, 03 rather than 1,2,3

David~

Thank you for your reply.

Do you know of anyway to copy custom properties from shape to shape? Say
you add a custom property to a shape, and decide you would like that property
to go on some other shaopes, too, as is, is there a way to do it without
having to build the property from scratch on each shape?

Thanks~

Custom Property Sets can do this, as can my own utility celMaker utility
(via Excel). I think that Visimation has a tool too.

The best way is to inherit custom properties from the Master shape, but it
may be too late on existing drawings if you have ammended custom properties
on individual shapes.

The Database Wizard creates Custom Properties, and in Visio 2007 Pro, Link
Data to Shapes creates Shape Data (the new name for Custom Properties)

If you are amending copies of Masters from standard Visio stencils, then
don't forget to check the Match master by name on drop property on the
Master properties dialog, otherwise users could end up using the original
Master and causing duplicate Masters in your document.
