I have an Apple IPod and a Kodak Iframe for showing photos. I am trying to
arrange photos in alph order. However, when played back on either device(
Iframe used a memory stick), the photos are in the order that they are in on
the computer hard drive. Both devices just copy the photos in the order the
files appear in DOS (using the DIR command, unsorted). It appears that the
file allocation table arranges the files within a directory, based on some
rules other than date or time added or alph order.
Question: Is there a simple way to arrange files in a specific order (
alphbetically) in a given directory on the hard drive so that these devices
can copy the files in the same order? Just sorting the files using the DIR/o
doesn't work.
