Order of meta data in Project Information dialog box

I noticed that with Activities and Proposals, the custom fields seem
to be in alpha order. However, I'm not sure the order in which the
custom fields are presented in the Project Information dialog box in
the MSP 2007 client.

Is there a way to control the order in which those custom fields
appear within the MSP 2007 client?

There is no way to control the order, unless you make a field mandatory in
which case it appears at the top of the list.
