Ordering Note Flags

I am completely shocked that there is no functionality as far as I can tell
to Order Note Flags on the Page of origin. I would like to arrange them by
check/un check, fade status, or date, etc. Ideally I want tasks to fade
when checked completed and to move to the end of the page automatically. I
must be missing something cause this seems like such obvious functionality.
I am aware of the view note flags summary feature. This isn't what i'm
looking for. Am i missing something. Can it be done with some advanced
customizing programming? Help.

Hi,

This is version 1 software.

In due time when the next version of OneNote is released I would
expect it to have significant new functionality.

Hi Woshea,

There are some basic note flag grouping functions within OneNote V1.0. At
the top of the Note Flags Summary pane, there is a drop down that enables you
to group the Note Flags by Note Flag Name, Section, Title, Date, and Note
Text. In addition, you can check the box underneath that says "Show only
unchecked items" to see your unchecked To-Do flags. Lastly, towards the
bottom of the pane, in the box named "Search," you can scope your Summary to
certain sections, folders, date of creation, etc.

This grouping functionality can help you sort and categorize your Note Flags
more effectively. We're looking to add more powerful sorting ability in
future releases.

Hope this helps.

Roan
