Org Chart in Powerpoint - shapes and sizes

I am attempting to create an organizational chart in Powerpoint 2003. In
Powerpoint 2000 I was able to use different shaped boxes to show different
reporting levels, or even no box at all just the name and title listed off to
the side of the reporting line. In 2003 I cannot change the shape of the
boxes, the size of the boxes, or choose to not have boxes at all. What am I
doing wrong?

Try turning off the Autolayout option on the Org Chart toolbar.
