I am trying to create an Org Chart where Positions may have one or more
employees. In each shape, I need to display Position Title, Name(s), and
Department. In the Custom Properties of the Position shapes I have added new
fields called Name2, Name3 etc. to accommodate each of the additional
employees, so some position shapes have only one Name field, while others may
have 2 or 3.
I then go into the Organisation Chart -> Options menu, ticking (check box)
the various Name fields to display from the Fields tab.
The result is that in the diagram, the Position with only one name field,
has blank lines beneath the Name field as well. I assume these blank lines
are for the non-existent Name2, Name3 fields even though this Position shape
does not have Name2 etc. in Custom Properties.
Depending on who the org charts are sent to, we need to be able to hide and
unhide the Name and Department data.
Can anyone advise on how I can hide the blank lines? Or how I can put more
than one employee name in a Position box?
Any assistance/point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated..
