Hello,
I am basically throwing this out there. I have a potential client need to
construct an Access Database for the organization that would map out the org
chart of the organization and separatly also provide a seating chart.
I am trying to figure out how hard it would be to build such a database or
if it is even possible or if there are much easier ways of getting this done.
I was thinking of creating tables and queries obviously and either have the
data map out to Visio or to simply use the Access Report or Access Pages to
show both the org and seating charts.
Looking forward to your input(s), all is welcome. If also any of you have
done this before or have samples that I could look at that would be greatly
appreciate. These can be sent at (e-mail address removed).
I have the sample database "SampleOrgChart.zip" taken from the site
http://www.codeproject.com/asp/BSRKOrganizationChart.asp, however I find this
is not nearly sufficient enough for to get a good idea as to how to make this
work properly and well.
All responses are much appreciated!
