Org Chart subordinate/supervisor link - Visio 2000

Why is it, when I have an org chart and I move part of it, it automatically
reassigns the subordinate link to another supervisor? Sometimes, I'm just
moving a box 1 square over and it freaks out and resets the entire sheet.
What's the deal?
