Org Chart - Syncronized Copies

L

Littlebear

I have a chart consisting of two divisions, 100 positions total.

I created syncronized copies, then deleted so that each division is on a
separate copy.

When I edit the main chart (i.e., name changes, etc. - no adding of new
boxes or positions), some items update on the syncronized copies, some do
not. Appears to be random.

All boxes are connected properly with lines.

Any other issues might cause inactive syncronization in charts?

Thank you.

I'm not sure of the cause, but I have seen other reports of this. My guess
is that Visio only synchronizes the shapes that were part of the
Synchronized Copy. If you continue diagramming, the additional shapes are
not synchronized. It could be that Visio is losing track of this.
