Org Chart using 2007 Word and or Excel

I've found where I can build a small org chart using the SmartArt Graphics
option in Word. I thougt I had seen somewhere that I could build my data in
Excel then create the graphic in Word or Excel. (Not PowerPoint or Visio)
Any suggestions?

I don't have 2007 here at work but did you try searching the Help file in
either of those two programs to see how it's done?

I'm farily certain only Visio will do this. File/New, point at Organization
Chart, and then click Organization Chart Wizard.
