Org Chart

Is it possible to create an organizational chart in Access? If so can
someone help me to get started. I have all employee names, their dept, their
supervisor, and rank (#) assigned to each employee as to how they rank within
the structure of the company, there are also dept codes - to put an employee
in a specific dept under a specific supervisor, and supervisors under higher
mgmt. Example: Emp name, Emp Dept, Emp Super, Rank, Dept, Dept code. I'm
trying to build a report that looks like an org chart. Can some one help.

Hi Jannie,

I think it would be very much simpler to do this in Visio. I have an
idea that recent versions of Visio can build an org chart from data in a
query; even if not, it would be much easier to program using Visio
drawing objects (the data could stay in Access).

Certain recent versions of Visio provide a fairly decent org chart. You are
presented with options for quite a few different layouts. You can take your
result and publish it to web pages.
