organization chart - report to more than one supervisor

i'm using visio 2007. I see that others have had the same problem I'm having,
although they had earlier versions of Visio.

I set up a subordinate and it links to supervisor #1...then when I manually
try to insert a second dotted line relationship to supervisor #2, the first
disappears.

What do I need to do?

Visio only allows one direct report line, you have to use a different line
type.

I'm not sure how to do this. If I highlight a dotted line, for example, then
try to use a connector, it still won't connect without erasing the one that's
there. Can you tell me step by baby step so I can see where i'm going wrong?

On my system there is a 'dynamic connector' for direct reports and a 'dotted
line' for indirects, do you have the two connector types showing in your
stencil?

If you drag the dottet line onto the page and drop it when it connects to
one of the two parties and then move the free end so it connects to the
other, then it should work.
