Organization Chart

I am using Power Point 2003

I have an organization chart with 4 levels - CEO is the top dog, Managers
are next, supervisors are sub to managers & workers are subordinate to the
supervisors. I just added a new supervisor (subordinate to a manager) but he
landed at the end of the list. I want to move him up the list to be the 2
supervisor listed out of 5 supervisors listed for one particular manager.
How do I do this? I tried draging the box up the line but that did not work.

Turn off Autolayout on the Org Chart toolbar. That should allow you to
rearrange as you wish.

First of all - thank you for your response. I did what you said - turned off
the Autolayout from the tools menu, but I must not be doing something right.
I tried to click and drag a box from the bottom of the list to the middle of
the list, but it did not work. Ex: One manager has 5 subordinates. I
wanted to move # 5 subordinate to become #3 subordinate. Is there another
way to do this?

Turn off Autolayout on the Org Chart toolbar. That should allow you to
rearrange as you wish.

I don't think so. If you turn off autolayout so you can rearrange one, you
have to then rearrange the others since it no longer works automatically.

Unfortunately, this is one of those limitations of Org Chart. I'd probably
draw my own using autoshapes and connectors (on Autoshapes | Lines) instead
so I have the kind of flexibility I like in these types of diagrams.
