Organize by Thread

I like the feature of ³Organize by Thread² in the free Apple Mail or Mozilla
Thurderbird, it even groups the ³conversational² threads where the subject
line are changed by the replier because of ³threading by reference². This is
very useful for a support personnel or sales folks, when customers change
the subject line while replying but retaining your previous reply as
reference in the mail. Actually it is extremely useful for anybody.

I heard Entourage does not support the threading by reference. Anyway if I
just want the basic ³group by subject² how do I achieve this in custom
arrangement in the mail, not newsreader? I¹d like to retain the ³From²,
³Subject line² and ³Sent² together as a group, just like how Apple Mail does
it, in a ³regular view² without one extra line of indentation identifying
grouping, and the conversation list below.

Make a custom arrangement describing the sort order you want, and check
Show In Groups.
I'd like to retain the
"From", "Subject line" and "Sent" together as a group, just like how Apple
Mail does it, in a "regular view" without one extra line of indentation
identifying grouping, and the conversation list below.

Then use Apple Mail. m.
