OrgPlus for Windows V3.0

Hi Mike,

I'm assuming you're referring to Orgplus v3 and not Windows v3.0 <g>

It will depend on the file format of the saved Orgplus object and it may depend on the presence of that version of OrgPlus. MS's
older OrgChart objects are Orgplus v2.0 (current http://Orgplus.com version is 6.0 and v3.0 isn't supported as I recall).

If you use Insert=>Object=>From File what result do you get?

Can I import an org chart created in OrgPlus for Windows V3.0>>

Ido get the option to insert an OrgPlus chart, however when I do all I get is
a dark outlined square.
Any suggestions?

Hi Mike,

This is in Word 2003? Is the MS Org Chart v2.0 app listed in Insert Objects?

If you search for an OrgPlus chart file *.opx) and double click on one of those in Windows Explorer what app and version is opening
that file?

In office applications you can insert an OrgPlus chart by taking the
following steps:

In Word, go to Insert | Object.
Select "Create From File" and not "Create New"
Under the "Create From File" tab, he can browse for the actual .opx
file and then press OK.

In this situation though, it appears that something is going wrong in
the process. If do not have the option to upgrade the program, I would
suggest uninstall and reinstalling OrgPlus from your machine. If that
does not work it may simply be some sort of compatibility issue and
upgrading may be your only option.

The most recent version of OrgPlus is 6. Included in OrgPlus
Professional version 6 is the ability to not only insert as an object,
but a much more powerful option allowing you to publish directly from
OrgPlus to your Microsoft Office applications. The publish can be
customized in several ways depending on your needs. www.orgplus.com

Best of luck!
