Is it possible to set up a document with a few pages in portrait then one in landscape so that when its prints it automatically changes from portrait to landscape?

Yes. The page format (margins, landscape, portrait, plus a lot of other
things) are a property of a Word Section. Each Section takes on the
properties of the section above, or you can change.

Experiment with this.

Start writing on a page set for portrait. Insert a Section break. Put
cursor in that section and change the page orientation to landscape.
Write some some. Then insert a Section Break. Change origination to
portrait. Write some more. Print Preview to see results.

Sadly, I can't find where this documented in Mac Word's Help. But this
way of formatting sections is a basic part of how Word has worked for 20
years and more. Pick up pretty much any book about Word and it will be
described. Or perhaps find an internet page via Google or Bing.
