original template 1-page only?

I've made an original template and put it in the template folder. For some
reason, only the first page of my PowerPoint presentation shows this
template. How can I get ALL the pages to use it? I have checked the
appropriate box that reads something like "all slides" but that doesn't do it.
I'm not even able to manually go to each page to use my template; it just
shows up for page one! What am I doing wrong?

It sounds as though you've created and formatted a single slide and saved it as a
Template (POT) file. That won't work. You need to do View, Master, Slide Master
and format the Master. Optionally, also Insert, New Title Master (if there's
none there already) and format it as well. THEN save as a Template file and all
should be well.
