I am using the ORK Tool Kit to create a MST/MSI for Office
2003. I have a question on how this tool works.
On screen 17 of this tool is the Outlook customize page.
You have 4 options:
1. Use existing profile
2. Modify profile
3. New profile
4. Apply .PRF file
If you choose number 2, modify profile, it will do this:
"Modify the default profile on the user's computer. If no
profile exists, Outlook creates a profile based on the
options you choose on the remaining Outlook pages of the
wizard; the default profile name is Outlook. "
The remaining Outlook pages do not let you use a .PRF file
and we have some custom settings we need to use from
a .PRF file.
How can I modify the profile yet still get my custom
settings froma .PRF in there?
I am thinking the only way is to copy down a custom
outcmd.dat file.
Is there another way?
Thanks,
