osa.exe problem

Hi,
Few users are facing a problem while opening the office programs. After stoping the osa.exe process from the task manager.. the office program opens without any problem... Can we delete the osa.exe from the program files???? OSA.EXE is used for speeding up the office prgrams... but here it is doing opp...
Can anyone suggest what to be done.

I always considered OSA a pest. Deleting or disabling it seems like an
excellent idea to me.

This may be a silly question, but, what is osa.exe?
