Current setup: Domain with Office 2003 deployed via GPO (Software
installation policy).
Testing the deployment of Office 2007 via GPO (Software installation policy)
to uninstall Office 2003 and install Office 2007. The uninstall of 2003 goes
okay, but then when it tries to install 2007, it errors out with a
ose00000.exe error.
From the looks of it, it seems that when 2003 uninstalls, it puts the
ose00000.exe in the windows\temp directory and when 2007 tries to install, it
can't overwrite the ose00000.exe thats already in there and errors out.
Did a bunch of searches and it seems other people have this problem as well,
but i couldn't find any solutions. Has anyone had this problem and found a
good way around it?
Thanks!
