OST corruption is still an issue in Outlook 2002

Microsoft has several KB articles about OST corruption in Outlook
2000. This was supposedly fixed by a service pack. There are no
Outlook 2002 articles.

I use Outlook 2002 with exchange server. Recently my custom views were
forgotten when connecting to exchange server, but available when using
Outlook offline. I ran the Microsoft Outlook 2000 OST Integrity Check
Tool. It reported many errors including the failure to synchronize the
views (see report, below).

Anyone have any suggestions about managing and preventing OST
corruption? One factor is that I used Chapura's products to sync a
Palm with Outlook (used to use PocketMirror Pro, now use KeySuite).
