OST / PST format mis-match

Just migrating from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003.
Also now using Exchange Server 2003.

Get ' the personal folder file (.pst) you selected does not match the format
of your offline folder file (.ost)' when attempting to change my email
account 'Deliver new email to the following location' setting from my
Exchange mailbox to my Personal Folder.

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Outlook but same result even after
deleting the .pst and .ost files.

Any ideas?
